MINI-CITIES

(...) The latest projects of business parks are different from their predecessors. They are much larger and their construction is planned to take several years. Developers have divided them into phases and do not do conceal the fact that the construction of the consecutive parts will depend on the demand.

The scale of the projects attracts attention, wherever they are located. The business park that is to be created at the Lech Walesa airport in Gdańsk is worth mentioning. The BCB Business Park includes five office buildings, three conference and exhibition halls and a hotel. In summary, it is a small, self-sufficient town. The construction will cost PLN 500m and is taking off this year. The office buildings will house catering and shopping spaces. The architects from Grupa Projektowo – Inwestycyjna BASS have provided the interesting environment of the office buildings: the friendly climate will be created by alleys, landscaping and water ponds.

The BCB Business Park confirms a more general trend: green areas are playing a growing role in business parks (...).
