Project - Description

DTZ has been selected to act as the leader of commercialising the BCB Business Park, an investment project implemented by Bałtyckie Centrum Biznesu in Gdańsk Rębiechowo. Our partner has been operating in Poland for 15 years and its origins date back to the 18th century, making it one of the oldest institution of this kind in the world.

As it has been stressed both by DTZ experts and commercial property market specialists, the location of the project has been selected based on the thorough analysis of logistic aspects and of similar investment projects abroad. Our project looks to the state-of-the-art and most quickly developing business parks in the world that comprise office buildings and conference-exhibition spaces, restaurants and hotels.The location of the project has been selected after the detailed logistic analysis and the study of similar investments abroad. Our design refers to the state-of-the-art and fastest developing business parks in the world, which comprise not only office buildings, but also conference-exhibition spaces, restaurants and hotels. The BCB Business Park is more than just offices – this is the infrastructure that fulfils top quality requirements and has been created for the comfortable business development. Every office building provides the option to arrange a restaurant or shopping-service point, if the users (lessees) of the BCB Business Park have such needs. A modern hotel as well as the Conference-Exhibition Centre will be other facilities available for the visitors and clients.

The office buildings have been designed as H-shaped forms with a lifted bar connecting the two wings. The shift of the connecting passage provides the creation of two patios – the smaller that functions as the main entrance and the larger internal one. The main entrance to the office buildings (B1, B2 and B3) is located at the main external car parks.
The ground floors of the office buildings (B1, B2 and B3) eastern wings feature double-storey arcades and are supported on columns, which descent to a shallow water hole that gives this form the impression of lightness and flair.
The buildings have one main entrance and three emergency exits. The main entrance is disabled-friendly. The underground floor is to feature an open garage hall with 114 parking spaces.
On the ground floor, in the section that connects the two buildings, there will be the public space with a spacious hall and a reception, seats (a waiting room) and a separated restaurant/bar or service section (customised). Lifts on the ground floor will be accessible behind access control gates. Guests who receive consent to cross the gate zone will be admitted by the reception staff.

The project includes landscaping solutions. We have provided large open spaces with trees, lawns, flower beds and benches. Water holes will be another architectural candy for the eye, located at the entrance to every building.
